This little article aims to give you a some tips and tricks in order to get ready for your photo shoot.

First of all put yourself together and by this I mean your mind set.

You are going to have a photo shoot and not surgery.

So the word that has to dominate your mind is POSITIVITY.

Get rid of any negative emotion, so when you wake up on the day of the photo shoot simply look yourself in the mirror and say out loud "I LOVE YOU (followed by your name :D)".

While still looking in the mirror print a big fat smile on your face.

Again it seems stupid but there is science behind it.

Every time that you smile automatically all that chemical stuff related to joy and happiness will start to fire up in your brain and all negative thoughts will fly away like magic.

It might sound stupid but believe me it works.

So your mindset is right let's think about your clothing.

This depends on what you want to achieve with the photo shoot and what you want to communicate.

If you are a dancer for sure you will not wear a suit and viceversa if you are having a photo shoot for business reasons you will not select casual sports like clothes.

I think this is a simple thing but do not underestimate it.

Also you need to feel comfortable with your clothing so do not pop yourself in something that has a color that you don't like or something that is not the real you.

Avoid stripes and patterns !!!

They might create some disturbance in the camera sensor (moire effect) that is very hard to remove in post production.

Now the hard part (this is for women only): the make up.

Please use a light make up, do not overload your face and please please please DO NOT USE FAKE TAN.

Last but not least, have fun because thats what a photo shoot is at the end lots of fun.
