BEHIND THE LENS
My name is Giuseppe Salvini. I am originally from Sicily and now living permanently in Glounthaune (Co. Cork - Ireland).
I began my photographic life focusing on landscape/astro photography.
I enjoy experimenting with flash and High Speed Sync technic.
I find this process particularly interesting when applied to portraits.
The possibilities are endless and currently I have embraced portrait with dark moody tones and shadows because of the powerful feelings that they can convey.
In September 2016 I attended a workshop in New York where I had the pleasure to meet and gain mentorship from world famous photographers like Lindsay Adler, Emily Soto, Matthew Jordan Smith, Victoria Will, Al Bello, Vincent Laforet, Joey L, Adam Senatori, Brandon Stanton, Andrew Scrivani, Gary Knight.
