Be serious, but not too serious.
Updated: Sep 24, 2018
I spend part of my day on social media platforms especially the ones dedicated to business and work. I often see too many pictures of people staring at the camera deathly serious.
I understand that you want to show a certain attitude but believe me often it is too much.
What has to come from a picture is actually the real you.
The camera is not a monster that you have to defeat with the most aggressive look like one of the bad guysready to be taken down from the Avengers :)
There is no need to always have that bad ass attitude.
Of course sometimes you can, depending on the context of the picture.
In a business context I’m not sure it will have the impact that you want.
Check your social media profile and ask yourself:
"Would I go out with this person?"
"Would I hire this person?"
"Would I contact this person for business?"
If you don't give a yes to the above questions then probably it is time to fix your profile pictures.
If you are inexperienced in front of the camera don’t worry that is the photographers job to guide you and achieve the desired result which is always the best version of you.
See ya!
